About the Owner
Paint Appetit was founded by artist/ illustrator Katrina Gatson in 2012. Mrs. Gatson attended Sam Houston State University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art - Advertising & Graphic Design degree and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She is a full-time wife, mother and accredited artist that is mobile and specializes in artistry events.
She was raised on the Eastside of Houston,
North Shore area and wanted to provide a
service to the surrounding community. After
attending Sam Houston State University and
working as an art teacher in Huntsville, she
moved back home and currently works as an
art teacher.
Paint Appetit provides private lessons, custom
art work, paint parties, drawings, art camps,
illustrations, and graphic design projects, etc.
